What's In A Sign?

A friend of ours here at Outer Banks Country Store recently suffered the loss of their beloved dog that passed away. If you're an animal lover and have ever lost a pet, then you know the heartbreak firsthand. Our pets are an important member of our families.
So, in an effort to help them feel just a little bit better, we did what we do best. We sent them a sign. It turns out, that little gesture was just what the doctor ordered. We received a note saying that they were writing through teary eyes, how happy they were to receive the thoughtful gift.

Such a small token, but it can help to relieve a friend's pain just a little. Whatever the circumstances, even if it put's a smile on someone's face just temporarily, then it's worth its weight in gold.

Simply hanging an Always Kiss Me Goodbye sign above the front door or an Always Kiss Me Goodnight sign above the bed, serves as a reminder to never take your loved ones for granted.

Or the recent Grad, who is excited, but who also might be experiencing some anxiety at the same time about all of the unknowns that lie ahead, a simple You Got This sign speaks volumes of the pride you feel for them, the confidence and the faith you have in them, that they are ready to take on the world.

We've been making our rustic wood signs here on the Outer Banks of North Carolina for over 20 years. Even though they start at just $6.98, the smiles and joy that they bring are priceless and there's real value in that.
So, "What's in a sign", you may ask? Well, let's see: Love, support, friendship, humor, spirit, motivation, inspiration, encouragement, faith, a peace offering, an olive branch, a laugh, a memory, a reminder, a confidence boost or even a simple I'm thinking of you. Often, when words fail us, a sign can say it all. So what's in a sign? Everything, my friends.
